Fair Go Helper is a self-help tool that turns public Australian Consumer Law (ACL) guidance into plain-English next steps. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not create a solicitor–client relationship. The letters, complaints, and tribunal materials Fair Go Helper generates are templates populated with the facts you provide. They are general information only.

Nothing on Fair Go Helper guarantees any particular outcome. Every dispute is different. If your matter is complex, involves personal injury, or a significant amount of money, you should consider speaking with a qualified solicitor or a free community legal centre before acting.

You must provide accurate contact information and keep your sign-in email secure. You are responsible for anything done through your account. If you believe your account has been accessed by someone else, contact us straight away.

You must be at least 18 years old and resident in Australia to use Fair Go Helper.

You control the facts entered into your case and the extracted content pulled from your uploaded evidence. You are required to review and confirm those facts before Fair Go Helper generates any document. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of what a document says and for the decision to send it.

Fair Go Helper does not send documents on your behalf. Every letter, complaint, or tribunal bundle is produced for you to review, download, and send yourself.

You agree not to:

• use Fair Go Helper to harass, defame, or knowingly make false claims about any person or business;
• upload evidence you do not have the right to use;
• use Fair Go Helper for disputes outside Australia or outside the Australian Consumer Law;
• attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service;
• resell or on-provide the generated documents as a paid service to others.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fair Go Helper and its operators are not liable for any loss, damage, cost, or missed deadline arising from your use of the service, from any document generated, or from any decision made by a business, regulator, or tribunal in relation to a matter handled through the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer guarantee that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

We may update, change, or discontinue features of Fair Go Helper at any time. We will make a reasonable effort to let account holders know about material changes before they take effect.
